She was born in 1973, in Athens, she is married and a mother of two children. She is a professional engineering license holder of Class C (superior) in geotechnical design and investigation (category 21) and Class A in structural design (category 08).
EDUCATION
Civil Engineer NTUA (1996), holding a Master Degree in Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Seismology, from Imperial College (1998, MSc, DIC).
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
She worked at «Ch.Kirpotin – E. Kyriazis – G.Vrochidis Engineering Consultants» for two years and designed, coordinated the design and supervised during construction projects of building restoration.
Since 1999 to 2014 she had been an associate engineer of firms: “Sotiropoulos & Associates SA” and “Geomechaniki SA”and “Hydroerevna S.A.” and since 2014 and up today she is Partner and Managing Director of ATENEIA P.C.”
She has gained extensive experience in coordination and design of Geotechnical projects and Site Investigations, in major infrastructure projects, mostly highways, railways, special building projects, ports and in a variety of private projects. She is also experienced as technical consultant for the Greek Government and contractor companies and private clients, particular in transportation projects and deep excavation projects (buildings, ports) in Greece and abroad.
SELECTION OF PROJECTS
She has designed, coordinated or provided technical consultant services for numerous of geotechnical projects, such as: Ionia Odos, Thessaloniki Metro, Train Depot in Elaionas-Athens, Railways in different parts of Greece, Egnatia Odos, PATHE Highway, Undergrounding Urban Railway, Patra Port, Igoumenitsa Port, Karla reservoir, Lefkas’ and Mytilinis’ marina, northern extension of Fujairah Port, Submerged tunnel of Lefkas, Museum of Contemporary Art of Goulandris Foundation.

She is a member of the Greek Technical Chamber, the Greek Scientific Society of Soil Mechanics & Geotechnical Engineering, the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering and the International Society of Rock Mechanics.
